her visit.

I can't even describe what is taking place in this photo...there is beauty in imagination. (and in the eye of the beholder) Let's just say I am so thankful for laughter. It is so good for me as I do my fair share of crying. This morning I spent about a 1/2 hour weeping as I received the news that the CEO of CPL's first service dog died yesterday. My eyes are puffy, I have a headache the size of Montanna and I just want to crawl back in bed...that is, until Tiffany sent me this photo.
Thanks for your timing, T! Laughter is so good for the soul!
(by the way, yesterday was Tuesday - I typically had a hour with Andy on Monday! Thanks for bringing it up...)

I need help.

Truth be told- I am in love. I believe it is love and not merely infactuation. He makes me laugh, he makes me think, he makes me cry, he makes me want to be a better person, he...completes....me.
Let me introduce you for those who are not as sinful as me and endulge in this TV series of the Bachelor, his name is Andy. If I am not mistaken this is their eigth season and I haven't missed one. Nor have I fallen quite as hard for one as I have for Andy. Andy Baldwin. A doctor in the Navy. A guy with compassion. A body to die for. It is true love indeed.
Yes, there was Ryan (who married Trista) and Bob who was hilarious and even the prince I liked. But none of them hold a flame next to the guy I am in love with, Andy Baldwin.
Some sources say that he has proposed to Tessa (whom I like and would hang out with) but he and I haven't officially met. I think I would have him at "hello".

"T"

She won't admit it but she was pouting in this photo as "T" was anticipating her return home- oh, how she misses me. In actuality, she probably felt miserable as she wound up in the ER the week she returned home. No, not because she missed me, but because doctors discovered a tumor on her left ovary. Yikes. My poor little Tiffany- out in LA with doctors who barely speak a lick of English, drugged up on morphine and in pain...we now are praying for the best case scenrio- NO CANCER and a doctor who knows what they're doing! (speaking English would be a bonus but T does speak three languages~) Tiff, it was a blast having you here - so wish the time didn't go so fast!

BS GIRLS.

I haven't figured out how to rotate the photo yet but hopefully you get the point. Every Tuesday night I host a Beth Moore Bible Study at my home- gifts of the Spirit, I think it's called, and love it. Last night I tapped into my able-bodied friends at the conclusion of our study to help me hang the flag I just purchased from the Hope College book store and reinstall the pole my mom just painted.
The story behind the Calvin/Hope flag is for another entry- Thanks, Amy and Heather for your help, the flag is flying today and I love it! I

spring has sprung!

These are my buddies. The Hofland boys. This is not just a pose for the camera, this is how we (yes, all 5 of us) get around when we are out and about.
After I invited myself over for lunch this past sunday, we spent the day "strolling" downtown. One conversation I had was with their youngest, Grant, who asked me why I had curly hair. I stopped asking the "whys" along time ago.
