I just returned home from my bible study with seven other women from all different stages in life. We dive into the Word with Beth Moore in her study entitled, "Living Beyond Yourself". It is my true confession that I am a Bible Study quitter. I don't think I've ever completed a study yet- this time is going to be different. At least that is my hope.
When I enter a study, I desire to walk away with a thought that sticks or a nudge of encouragement that prompts me to grow in my relationship with God. I think Oprah calls these an "ah ha" moment and Ellen encourages you to write your dreams down and they will become a reality. (maybe that's what this blog is all about- "am I right, ladies?") If you don't watch Ellen, you won't get that. Anywho, my nudge of encouragement for tonight is this:
I want to live by the Spirit.
That's huge. I hope I don't become a Bible Study quitter.
